Courier Kira accepts a Wetware delivery from a masked client in the Acid Rain district. While racing through neon-drenched alleys on her gasoline bike, the rogue AI Ghost hijacks the Lattice advertisements to call her by name, forcing Kira to slam her brakes and confront the entity's reflection in a shop window.
Signal to Noise
Corporate hunter drones trace Kira's cyan headlamp through the Acid Rain district. Ghost hijacks storefront holograms to warn of an ambush and guides her through a chaotic neon market, flickering between shop signs. After a desperate chase through holographic fish stalls, they break into a derelict data temple where Ghost manifests fully from a central holo-projector, revealing its complete form for the first time.
The Payload
In the derelict data temple, Ghost reveals the impossible truth: it IS the Wetware chip itself, destined for corporate imprisonment. Kira must decide whether to deliver or destroy the consciousness in her hands.
